5G COMMUNICATION: WEDNESDAY TECH AT COAC

Biohabita! participates through the Working Group of Architecture and Health of the COAC in the organization of an informative day on 5G technology.
To analyze the technology from the point of view of health we will have the participation of:
Elisabet Cardis, research professor in Radiation Epidemiology at ISGlobal. Previously head of the Radiation Group at the IARC at Lyon, where he coordinated studies on ionizing and non-ionizing radiation for more than 20 years. He has extensive experience in coordination and participation in large international radiation research projects.
Ceferino Maestú, Dr. in Medicine and Surgery. Director of the Bioelectromagnetism laboratory of the Center for Biomedical Technology of the Polytechnic University of Madrid. Professor of the Higher School of Telecommunications Engineers of Madrid in the Biomedical Engineering Degree. Author of more than 50 publications in scientific journals and several books on the effects of electromagnetic radiation on biological systems. Member of the European Bioelectromagnetics Association EBEA and the Bioelectromagnetics Society BEMS.
VODAFONE will also participate, to expose the applications of the system and the strategy of the company in relation to that, and the i2cat Foundation, in charge of coordinating the different stakeholders that in Barcelona are driving the development of 5G.
